The design
Fourteen inches of solid, stitched dome.
Worked in one piece in continuous rounds of thick cotton cord: a flat base, straight sides, then the dome closes over the top and the entrance is shaped as you go. There is no wire, no glue and no frame inside — the cord and a firm tension are what hold the shape.
The two pointed ears and the long curling tail are worked separately and sewn on at the end. They take twenty minutes and they're the reason people ask where you bought it.
